Great and professional service

Our stay in Gamandy Eco-Lodge has been very enjoyable. The location is close to Luxor's main attractions, but is also peaceful and quite and gives a great flavor of rural Egypt. We had a full crew of chef plus helpers preparing meals, providing the kids with attractions including bringing rabbits, sheep and a horse for the kids to play with. The accomodation is beautiful and integrates perfectly with local environment including having palm trees inside the rooms and in some of tha bathrooms. This is a perfect choice for families or a group of friends who want to connect, enjoy the outdoors but also be very close to some of the world's most attractive historic sites like valley of the kings and Karnak templte. We spent 4 nights in Gamandy Eco-Lodge and the kids are already asking about our next trip!

Tuve una experiencia increíble en este Airbnb. El anfitrión estuvo muy pendiente de mi llegada y me dio una cálida bienvenida que me hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Hice mi reserva por la noche y me confirmó rápidamente, además de estar pendiente en todo momento. Fue muy hospitalario y me ayudó enormemente con mi viaje, incluso me llevó a la parada de autobús para mi vuelta a Luxor, asegurándose de que todo fuera perfecto. Además, me acompañó al templo de Abu Simbel y me trajo de vuelta sin ningún costo adicional, lo cual fue un detalle que realmente aprecio. Sin duda, le doy un 10 de 10 a este anfitrión por su amabilidad y atención. ¡Altamente recomendado!

Faten was a very helpful host from the outset. Great communication, a warm welcome, a bright smile, and genuine care for her guests. Faten allowed us an early check in, appreciated after the long drive from Aswan. The room is beautifully decorated with two grand wooden mirrors, and authentic Egyptian furniture. The bed was comfy, the room utterly spotless. Our private bathroom was a few steps away from our bedroom, which was clean, amply supplied with clean towels, and plentiful hot water. We didn't take advantage of breakfast in the morning, as we had to go all the way back to Aswan early. This is is a great place to stay to visit the breathtaking two temples at Abu Simbel. Why make a day trip, with at least 6 hours travelling there and back from Aswan? Stop off and split the journey by staying at Faten's beautiful white house. My only caveat is that if your mobility is impaired, the room is up a narrow, steep flight of stairs.
