Dorice is the sweetest and most fantastic host I could possibly have asked for. She treated us as family from the moment we arrived, welcoming us with her warm hospitality, a delicious meal cooked with home-grown ingredients and a fascinating overview of Tanzanian culture. Her place, Walk with us Africa, offers a comfortable stay and is also an ideal base for relaxing before/after a Kilimanjaro expedition, as well as exploring Moshi and the surrounding region. Hammocks, a relaxing garden, filling breakfasts, tons of local tips, help booking excursions and great vibes are guaranteed to have you wishing you could stay here longer. I can highly recommend!

if you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bussel of Arusha, want it to feel like you're not in the middle of town with beautiful scenery and nature around you, but still be close to the city centre - this is the place for you. the pool, accomodation, food and staff were all great and made my stay a very relaxing and enjoyable one. For those worried about the road after reading the reviews, don't worry, you don't need a 4x4 - arusha suburbs off the main roads are usually dirt roads and can be wild for people who have not lived in a city like Arusha - I promise you it won't stop your transport from getting to or from this place. Further the staff here would never leave you stranded. You can ask them for anything, including arranging transport, and they are happy to help.

Wow. If you’re looking for somewhere extremely unique, beautiful, and special- with a to-die-for view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, look no further. You have to stay at Muksin and Catherine’s! Not only is the view amazing, but the rooms themselves are gorgeous. No detail was overlooked in decorating these with local handmade pieces and recycled material. Muksin and Catherine helped us organize transport from the airport, which made arrival seamless. The restaurant on site has delicious food and the breakfast, which is included, was the best we had in Tanzania. Be sure to take advantage of the free walking tour around the property- lovely river and abundant coffee plants. Whenever we find ourselves back in Tanzania, we’ll find any excuse to stay here again!

Absolutely loved our time at Foresight. It was the perfect place to relax after the safari and to enjoy the peace and nature. The staff is amazing, and they really thought of everything you could wish for to make your stay unforgettable. We stayed in the Tiny House and the Honeytree House, and both were quiet places, fully equipped with everything we needed. It was a unique experience, which I can recommend to everyone. I can truly say that this was the best place we stayed during our holiday in Tanzania. The visit to the school they are building was truly inspiring—such a beautiful project. Thanks for having us! ❤️

Hubert is just fantastic. I came to Moshi to climb Kilimanjaro, and he immediately connected me with an organizer who made the trip happen the very next day and at a very reasonable price. The rooms are basic but contain everything you need, with an on-site bar and restaurant. If you need to arrange anything, like transport or picking up supplies, Hubert is very quick and helpful. The hotel is located very close to the town centre, making it easy to find and get around.

We have really enjoyed our stay:) The outside area was lovely, they have tortoise on premises as well as lovely doggie!(what a bonus) The bed is as big as runway!

Nous avons logé dans ce magnifique lodge pendant 3jours/2nuits et nous avons été totalement séduit par l’endroit ainsi que l’accueil. Dès notre arrivée nous avons directement été pris en charge (petit verre d’accueil, explication sur le fonctionnement des différents services, présentation du lodge,…) Les repas sont très copieux et d’excellente qualité 🤩 La vue depuis les lodges est juste magnifique 😍 un vrai coin de paradis (calme, très arborés, confortable, … ) On entend que les oiseaux !! L’hote parle le français et anglais un vrai plus pour la communication 👍 Il est également très facile de réserver des activités en fonction de vos désires… Nous avions une idée bien précise de ce que nous souhaitions visiter et l’hôte s’est chargé de tout. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans modération 👌👌👌

Couldn’t love it more, great character, comfortable, clean with mosquito nets and the most delicious freshly cooked food. Excellent rooftop views of the town, good location and friendly amenable staff. Great place and I can’t believe the good price.
