This was an amazing stay, our host gave us the royal treatment. Five stars all the way around.

We had a great stay at Dirk’s place. The area is very relaxing. Four restaurants nearby and a small mini mart. The house is right next to the entrance to the beach. The beach is spectacular. A few miles long, great surfing, wonderful sunsets, and not crowded compared to the beach at Tarmarindo. We stayed for two weeks. The first week we rented a car to do grocery shopping, etc. The second week we just relaxed using nearby restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the pool when not at the beach. If you want to go to Tarmarindo it is about a 15 minute walk on the beach to the inlet that separates the two areas, you can then use the locals with their boats to cross. Cost $2 per person. Boats start at 8 and stop at 5. Dirk is a great host. He helped us with renting the car, and was generous with his recommendations. Look forward to returning.

The logistics were handled by a company called Tropical Homes and I worked with a gentleman named Tony who was extremely helpful for my family of four and a great communicator. This is condo/flat is centrally located in the development and is perfect for 3-4 people. Would definitely stay here again!

Ilya was super friendly and helpful. He met us at the gate for check-in and showed us around the unit and property. Everything was clean and easy to access. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and a couple min drive into downtown you can find a ton more. The beach is also within walking distance. It’s a calm beach with black sand. Not a lot around there but we had fun with our kids. This place is peaceful and relaxing and has great views of the ocean. Would recommend!

We had a phenomenal stay here! We had a private balcony, large airbnb and access to all the amenities (tennis, pickle ball, pool, ice plunge). We were a less than 5 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants. There was no noise and the AC was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

Toucan House was very nice. Great location for beaches, restaurants and tours. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was so appreciated from the heat. The iguanas were fun to hang out with too around the pool. Thank you Gaia for your nice little bungalow.

accommodations very quiet ,great private area. NIce swimming pool PLaya hermossa very quiet beach music done by 830 at night . If your looking for a more active night life playa cocca is a quick bus ride ,or twenty dollar cab ride . Elzbieta is a lovely lady . Was always helpful,pleasant.She made us feel very welcome. There are a few long term tennants at thi s complex, they also made us welcome . It was a wonderful .positive experience to stay at this AIRBNB

First, I want to thank Joe for the recommendations around the area. His place is an amazing place to re-energize as the ocean view is out of a postcard. Second, Joe's place is clean and has everything you need to cook a great dinner. Cold ac it's great if it gets humid/hot but not needed as the ocean breeze caress you and keeps you cool and comfortable. Lastly, thank you Joe for being an amazing host.

Casita by Lina was a little piece of heaven. It felt like our own little seaside abode. Very peaceful surroundings only steps from the beach. Tasteful decor inside & out. We will plan to stay again in the future.

This place was amazing, even better than in the photos! It was beautiful, clean, and had all of the amenities needed to make it a comfortable stay. It really was a magical place - early mornings were spent watching the birds, dragon flies, and iguanas, and the evenings disappeared by floating in the pool watching the breathtaking sunsets. You can easily walk downtown from the house if you are up for the climb up the hill on the way back but we also found that parking by the beach was easy so we were able to take the beach blanket and umbrella provided at the house. The host provided really helpful instructions so we could easily find the house and local restaurants and was extremely responsive during our stay when we reached out with questions. We stayed with our two children and it was perfect, was one of the best places we have ever stayed, and would highly recommend it!

Me and my 3 adult children in there 20’s stayed here and it was everything that the pictures show and better ! Outdoor living at its finest and we can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Air conditioning in each bedroom that gets very cold ! LOVED the pool ! Very clean for being outdoor living and I am very particular , but your in Costa Rica don’t go nit picking every nook and cranny you rented an Airbnb with outside living and it’s VERY CLEAN ! Upon arrival was left a bottle of wine , coffee and a pineapple:) Our host was very responsive and checked in regularly to make sure we didn’t need anything or if we needed any suggestions . You’re far enough away from town that we did not hear anything contrary to what some of the previous reviews said . This is a MUST STAY ! We loved it and were so sad to leave . We were here for 5 days and I do suggest renting a golf cart for your stay , soooo much fun and so much easier to get around it really made the trip ! Great Costa Rica Vibe

We never met Juan Carlos but his property caretaker, Ana, and her family were extremely kind and helpful. The location is fantastic, steps from the most beautiful beach ever. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well supplied. It was a little odd to have no living room area, but we didn't really need it with the beach right there.

This place was amazing! I first just want to thank Oscar. He was amazing and so helpful with everything that we needed. Stephanie was always available if we ever needed to reach out to her and was just so warm and friendly. The house was magnificent and it was perfectly located, not too far from everything that we planned to enjoy. There was even an amazing restaurant right at the foot of the hill! This house offered cleaning services. They even offered a cooking service. The views were breathtaking from every angle! I would rent this place over and over if I could. Thank you again Stephanie for absolutely EVERYTHING and thank you again Oscar you were pure perfection of kindness.

Ideal location, right in the heart of everything in Tamarindo, you call it restaurants, beach, supermarket, coffee shops, gym… The apartment if extremely well kept, surroundings are beautiful. Alexander and Gabriela are very friendly and helpful. Very fast internet for digital nomads. I recommend it to the Airbnb community 100 %

Erik's place is perfect if you love nature. There is a beautiful open vista whichever direction you look and we regularly saw the howler monkeys both front and back. The hummingbirds were at the feeders all the time and would hover incredibly close to us at the front of the house. A beautiful coati was also a regular visitor snuffling for food. The turtle nesting beach at Ostional is about a 15 minute drive if you take it slow over the unpaved road. The local roads are in a poor state but there is little traffic and we managed fine in a rental 4x4 (Daihatsu Terios). There is a decent grocery store in Nosara (about 10 minutes drive) Overall, we would definitely recommend staying at Erik's place.

Très beau logement. N’hésitez pas à réserver. Super bien situé. À distance de marche des commerces dont l’épicerie, restos et plage. La piscine est très pratique avec les enfants; elle est située à l’ombre en pm. L’appartement était propre et ressemblait aux photos. Les hôtes répondent rapidement à vos questions. Je recommande ce logement à tous! Un petit coin de paradis.

The place was exactly as described. We had 10 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. Had breakfast and most suppers outside by the pool. Working with the concierges provided (Brenda) was extremely helpful. She organized, shuttle services, tours, restaurant reservations and a catamaran and was very responsive to all of our questions during the stay. Veronica the chef / cleaner for the mornings was very helpful and friendly. She made all of our breakfasts and cleaned up any mess from the night before and had a great energy. We used the go carts to drive to the beach club (10 minute go kart ride) , pickle ball (10 minute go kart ride) and for suppers at the JW Marriott (5 minute go kart ride away). Beaches are great and very close and walkable to driveable with a car or go karts. We had a car to go into Tamarindo to get groceries and go to the beaches and restaurants there as well, only a 15-20 minute drive once you are out of the resort. Overall a

We had a great stay at Casa Tranquilla. Katherine and Willie were very responsive to our needs. The house was as described. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs under the shade by the pool. The wildlife was so fun -- we did see the monkeys pass by a few times. Like us, they seemed happy about the location. We stayed for 12 days, and I could work remotely during the week. The wifi in the house was strong enough for video calls. That said, Costa Rica has intermittent outages, and we experienced some brief loss of power and internet access a couple of times. It wasn't a surprise and didn't last long. If you haven't been to Costa Rica before, be aware that there aren't sidewalks in this area. The walk to town and the beach is along the roadside and on dirt trails. It's not a big deal and everything felt very close and safe, but it was helpful for us to know that going in. If you're looking for the beach, find the trail :) Thank you Katherine and Willie for the excellent stay!

Great secure location, excellent helpful neighbours, walkable to restaurants and beaches, though suggest a golf cart to deal with the late afternoon heat. Nice pool.

Great stay and convenient location! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Pool was amazing and the house is walking distance to the town with tons of restaurants and the beach.

I wish we would have got there earlier to spend more time there. It was still lovely and we would definitely stay again.

José fut un hôte joyeux et très sympathique. Ses animaux de compagnies ont donné un réel plus à notre séjour. Sa chienne Luna et piggy pie fut nos amies que nous avons réellement adoré ; surtout notre garçon! Le logement de José était très bien équipé à environ 15 minutes de marche des épiceries et restaurants, mais c'est préférable de prendre la voiture. La piscine fut un must vu qu'il fait chaud à Tamarindo. Les décorations, les arbres, les fleurs, les singes hurleurs, les lézards et les poules ont rendu notre séjour inoubliables. Nous avions en masse de place dans le logement ; nous sommes une famille de trois. Si je reviens à Tamarindo, je vais assurément revenir chez José. Je recommande fortement ce logement! Merci beaucoup!!

Our family loved staying at this beautiful home. The home was gorgeous and the location was perfect and so close to restaurants and everything in Nosara. Max was the most helpful host ever. He even helped us figure out a car rental issue late at night when we had a problem with our car rental at the airport. He was proactive, patient and so nice to work with. We loved the wildlife in the garden and the amazing surroundings. We would definitely stay here again.
