Last minute booking and we were so thankful for such beautiful accommodation. Elaine was very responsive and helpful and we would definitely stay again if the retreat is available next time we are in the Gold Coast

Great place with comfortable bed, big bathroom with good water pressure. Deck and outdoor table were great. We would like to come back here

one of the best airbnb stays i’ve had! beautiful little private guest house and great location - walking distance to everything you need in coolangatta! trevor and ann were so friendly and welcoming! even provided a bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers which was very thoughtful. would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the area!

Tidy, clean place, beautifully designed. Has everything you need. Close to everything. Beth was good at communicating and checking in and out was a breeze. Loved the pool!

We had such a beautiful stay. The perfect spot if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle. Such lovely tourist things to do around and everything was so close.

We absolutely loved our stay hosted by Ania and Alex. They were very accommodating even amidst the cyclone that we encountered when checking in. They always kept us up to date. Everything we needed was in close proximity and easy to navigate our way around. The decor styling is amazing and the space made us feel very comfortable and at home. It would be a treat for anyone wanting to stay there. We were also gifted with a nice bottle of wine and personally brewed beer, which hit the right spot after our long travel.

Claudia was a perfect host with clear instructions about the cottage and the general area. When we asked to use the featured fire it was prepared before we arrived and an abundant supply of firewood was provided. I highly recommend The Darlington Cottage for a short stay.

Myself and partner stayed at The Cabana for my birthday and wow it did not disappoint! Absolutely beautiful place, exactly like the photos. Suzy was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our weekend perfect, and me feel extra special by having a gorgeous little cake in the fridge as a surprise for when we arrived. We had a fantastic stay at Margot and Greg’s place! The property was spotlessly clean, tidy, and practical, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—close to Tallebudgera Creek, making it easy to explore the area. While we didn’t have the chance to meet Margot and Greg in person, their communication was excellent, and we felt well taken care of. The space itself was comfortable and well-equipped, and we couldn’t have asked for a better base for our visit. Brett and Tony were wonderful hosts, very friendly and respectful of privacy while being available if you needed anything with quick and accurate responses to any questions. Their cabin was clean and well appointed, and just the kind of place for the perfect getaway. I'll be coming back for sure.

Kristy was an awesome host who went above and beyond from getting the place ready with a welcome board and gifts including freshly laid eggs and some milk, to giving us a tour of her property, to offering her own facilities and catering to anything we needed. We had a very peaceful weekend and felt very welcomed and comfortable.
