The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

The Cabin

Charming log cabin in great Floyd County location for 2 guests only. Large family room with gas fireplace. Separate bedroom with queen bed, well appointed kitchen, & single bath with stall shower. Located ~22 minutes from I-81, 35 minutes from Virginia Tech, 22 minutes from Floyd Country Store, & ~ 40 minutes to Roanoke. No smoking/vaping on property. Our home is beside/visible from the cabin. We are available if you need anything, but we respect your time and will give you your privacy.

Inviting townhouse located 8 miles from Virginia Tech & Radford University. Walking distance to Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Less than a 1/2 mile to grocery store & park. Convenient to restaurants & shops. This 2 bedroom/1.5 bath townhouse is well equipped and the perfect place to stay whether coming for a football game, swim meet, Parent's weekend, visiting the hiking trails, wineries, or breweries of the New River Valley or stopping while traveling on route 81. It feels like home!

Three-story Blue Ridge Yurt getaway

This three-story yurt is an architectural wonder, featuring bamboo floors, heat and a/c and other modern amenities. Situated on 3 private acres at the top of an end-state-maintenance road with streams and hiking paths, the property exemplifies the beauty and diversity of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A huge fenced dog pen and cozy dog house make it possible to travel in style with the whole furry fam, while outdoor deck seating makes it feel like a treehouse gathering. Why be square?!

Tiny House @ TinyHouseFamily

Our tiny house is beautifully appointed with everything you need to live (and work!) in luxury two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and two miles from downtown Floyd, VA. Sleep soundly on the queen sized mattress topped with 4" memory foam. Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.

Tiny Home, Sweet and Simple living

With the feel of a modern farmhouse but the tenth of the size you will feel right at home! Our tiny home sits on an acre of land overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest VA. Nestled right between downtown Blacksburg (10min) and the New River (10min), there is so much to do and explore. A few miles off Prices Fork, close to gas/groceries yet between VT and RU! Owners operate a local tree business which presides on the property. *Price is for 2 guests. Add Guest $30/night

VE Farm

Enjoy the sounds and sights of nature when you stay in this unique place. Our small house is our place of respite as we develop our farm. It is full of many luxuries and a well appointed kitchen to allow for a very comfortable stay. There are views of our farm and the surrounding area from every window and the window above the bed is perfect for stargazing at night from the comfort of your bed. You will have access to almost 18 acres so bring your dogs, explore, and relax.

Our house is really special & unique. We want you to come enjoy the space! HUGE Private one room off the back of the house, complete with living room area, tv, king size bed, large private master bath, ability to set temperature (within range), futon, closet to store clothes or extra people! Located 1/2 mile from Sinkland Farms for weddings, special events, pumpkin patch, and sunflower festival. Handicapped accessible. Full kitchen minus dishwasher. Keurig and pods provided. Modern Cabin w/ Hot Tub - Romantic Retreat

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.
