Great place, magical location, host was very accomodating and responsive.

We loved our stay at Frenchman's Folly. The cottage is homely, comfortable and very well equipped. It is fully fenced and is very well located at Point Lookout: close to beaches, shops, cafes and the pub. Lots of wallabies and birds to observe and wonderful walks to be had. There's a decent bus service, so with or without a car is fine. Linda is a great host too!

Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

Very well appointed, comfortable and spacious cottage right by the sea with city views - Vandy has thought of a lot of little touches that make this place a treat to stay in. We’ll be staying here again for sure!

A great apartment, well equipped and in a good location to explore the Gold Coast by car. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was extremely clean and modern. Fabulous balcony overlooking the pool area and a small view of the bay. Louise was very friendly and helpful. The communal pool, spa and pool area was excellent and well maintained. We loved our stay.

This place was exactly what we were looking for, close to restaurants, easy walkable to further amenities. A lovely local pub/restaurant a short walk away which served a great selection of delish food and drinks at decent prices. A retail park 35 minute walk which had a huge selection of shops and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and clean with everything you need to be home from home and being on the sea front the view was breathtaking. The host was quick to respond and you could tell from messages was also kind and considerate and clearly works hard to provided the best overall experience for the client. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely return.

We had such a lovely stay. From the moment we booked until our farewell Harold was a fabulous host, very warm and welcoming. The home itself was perfect. Easy to find, well positioned with Wynnum and Manly main streets just a walk away, well appointed and quiet. It was lovely sitting outside on the covered patio in the warm weather, even on the days that it rained we could enjoy the outdoors. Our stay was definitely not long enough, being just four days, but we have reaped the benefits of staying at Harold’s as we feel very rested and relaxed from our time there. Highly recommended!

I had a beautiful stay. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. The location and view and sound of the waves was all worth it!

Loved the location. The builiding manager Emma was AMAZING! From responding to questions before we came, to making suggestions and helping us settle in while we were there, she was one of the biggest assets to our vaction! The location was great, 2min walk to bus stop, 12 min to tram, transit was great. Transit was super affordable. The view was great. The condo is well laid out and very comfortable. I loved walking out onto the beach and the beach walkway right there. About 20min to walk to Surfer's. I would stay there again.

Our family of 4 and one dog had a lovely stay at this wonderful beach house over the New Year period. Lots of room, great location on the beach, very secure and a bonus to have a fence to keep the pup safe. We highly recommend this house. Eliska was super helpful and very responsive

Was very close to everything, The grand has great meals and being just underneath was perfect and easy with the family! Pool is heated which the kids loved and the beach right across road was a perfect view to finish off each day and start another! Thank you!

On arrival Di met us showing us through our accommodation and giving us some helpful tips about the island and fishing spots. Our studio was very homely, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had complete privacy and would definitely recommend this little hidden gem to anyone visiting the island.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

We had a wonderful time staying here! So peaceful and relaxing. We took out the kayaks, soaked in the spa, hiked around the islands, and enjoyed dinner and drinks at the local club! Well worth it. Thanks to Sheryl and John for taking us to and from the ferry.
