A farm to table restaurant like no other! Chef Rob, and owners Carol and Steve are magic makers. Go for the food, live music, and Mountain View’s. Stay for a farm tour. Love in every bite!

Absolutely love their wine/cider/ drink list and modern take on classic German dishes. Highly recommend the Salmon Roladin and Kirsch hard cider.

Oscar hails from Oaxaca and brings with him the best homemade chips and salsa I’ve had anywhere across the country. Seriously. No joke. The. Best. If you don’t agree we can agree to disagree. Someone in the group not up for Mexican food? They make the best burger in the mountain top, too. Get fried jalapeños on the side of anything. So good! Also, his Margarita on the rocks is perfection.

Owners Chrissy and Ben are gems and culinary masters! Any metropolitan bakery would be blessed to have them, our upstate community won the lottery having them set up shop here.

A magnificent waterfall with a short and accessible hike/walk to a viewing platform. Go early during peak season because it gets very busy! Hike down to take a swim but be prepared for some rough terrain. A 15-20 minute drive from The Cottage.
