We loved our stay! It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool a lot and were lucky enough to see howler monkeys and hummingbirds from the deck!

The location can’t be beat! Just being able to sit on the patio every morning and evening listening to and watching the ocean was so peaceful. The house was perfect for our family of 3. The kitchen is very well set up with lots of working space and a view of the ocean while you cook! The lawn is gorgeous with many hammocks to relax in while kids played football. Then there’s the beautiful beach just steps from the house. Lila was so responsive and accommodating for our family. We truly were able to live Pura Vida while here! Thank you, Lila, for sharing your home with our family!

Casa Bosque will forever be in our happy memories! My family had such an incredible stay here. The hosts, Forest and Andrea, were so attentive to our questions or needs. She even made us sourdough bread one morning! They were respectful of our space and felt genuinely glad we were enjoying ourselves. They took our families sunset pics the last night. It was great getting to know them! The home is picturesque and has everything you need to enjoy Playa Negra. The beautiful pool overlooked the ocean and tropical landscape. It was refreshing to lounge in during the heat of the day. The kitchen had every amenity we needed to fix coffee, breakfast, and lunch. We chose to try restaurants in the area for dinners each night. Howler monkeys delighted us a couple of days when we could see the family hopping through the trees. The beach out front was a dream to walk out to from your own private entrance. We will definitely be putting this home on our “go back to” list. We enjoyed every minute!!

The house is perfect for either a larger family or two families. I quick 3 minute walk from an amazing beach and local restaurants. The pool is perfect for the hot afternoons and the hammocks were used by all! Only call out is to make sure you have flip flops on outside as it gets super hot and the polished concrete is slippery when wet - so important after some pool time. Hosts were great and arranged transportation from airport and basic shopping which was appreciated! Would absolutely recommend.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property was peaceful, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Julio, our host, was exceptional—by far one of the best hosts we've had in Costa Rica. He was responsive, generous, and showed great hospitality. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great place to stay! The hosts are super friendly, and it’s easy to feel at home. The place is clean, well-equipped, and more spacious than it looks in the photos—we were even able to fit our baby’s playpen easily. The central area is big and kid-friendly. The location is ideal: close to restaurants and a gorgeous beach, yet away from the noisy construction zones. It’s a peaceful little oasis with trees and even monkeys visiting! You can hear a bit of traffic from the main road, but it’s not disturbing. The beach is easily reachable via quiet little paths, no need to walk along the main road. The pool and outdoor areas are well maintained, and both A/C and Wi-Fi work great. Overall, a great value for the area. Highly recommended!

La maison est superbe et très bien située à quelques minutes de la plage de Samara et Carillo, des épiceries et des restaurants. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec salles de bain privées. Seul petit bémol, le coq du voisin chante très tôt le matin et dans diverses situations...mais on s'habitue avec le temps. Galileo est très réactif ainsi que Sandra. Je recommande fortement cette maison. Nous y avons passé de bons moments.

Le logement de Kevin est simple et fonctionnel. La climatisation et le wifi sont ok. Le lit est confortable. La route n’est pas loin mais le trafic est faible et ne nous a absolument pas dérangé. Mais c’est surtout le jardin avec ces différents lieux pour se poser ainsi que la piscine qui valent le détour!!! En fin de voyage, nous nous sommes même autorisés à y passer la quasi totalité d’une journée tant on y est bien!!! La vue et la piscine incitent à s’y poser, s’y reposer et simplement profiter. On s’y sent coupés du monde et dans une parenthèse de quiétude. C’est un vrai vrai coup de cœur pour cet endroit qui se suffit à lui seul. Kevin et sa famille sont discrets mais très réactifs aux demandes. Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir.

Susie and Patricia were excellent hosts- super responsive, knowledgeable and friendly! We had an incredible time at the house, swimming in the pool, walking to the beach to snorkel and using the boogie boards to play in the ocean. The kitchen had all of the necessities and we found it easy to cook big dinners for our group of kids and adults. Overall, we had an amazing time and were so grateful for the recommendations! Manu and as an incredible surf instructor. The AC was a lovely benefit and the kids loved the wildlife. The bedroom setups were perfect and everyone was happy to have space to spread out. Elsa creating us upon our arrival to explain everything and answer questions was fabulous. Overall, such a great trip!

Mein Partner und ich waren für 4 Nächte in einem kleinen Casita bei Henri einquartiert. Gleich zu Beginn haben wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der lebensfrohe Henri hat das Check-in persönlich gemacht und uns kurz das Casita präsentiert. Unser Häusschen hatte grundsätzlich alles was man braucht - Kühlschrank, Aircondition, 2 Ventilatoren und eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Dusche war tadellos. Die Matratze war unserer Meinung nach langsam ein bisschen durchgelegen. Es hatte viele nachtaktive Ameisen, was aber aufgrund der Lage in der Natur wohl nicht zu vermeiden ist. Der Hausheer Henri wohnt auf dem gleichen Areal, ist oft anzutreffen und daher auch immer bereit zu helfen, falls es Probleme gibt. Die Nächte waren für uns ruhig und angenehm. Der kurze Fussmarsch (4min.) zum Beach ist unschlagbar. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich gut. Danke Henri für deine genüssliche Gastfreundschaft! Pura Vida

Had a great time at this house. The house is fully equipped, kitchen well stocked with everything you need, the pool is wonderful and bigger than pictures show. The outdoor space was so relaxing and we spent time outside relaxing as a family. The beach is a 10 to 15min walk away and lots of restaurants and bigger grocery store is about 10min walk. We enjoyed being back a bit from town as it was quiet and relaxing. The property manager Andrea was so helpful if we had questions or needed anything and responded within 5min. Overall had a great stay.

The house was beautiful and with spectacular view. Plenty of space and all the amenities you need to make it a home away from home. Lots of wildlife, including regular visits from "Fred", the local inguana, howler monkeys and numerous birds. The pool is amazing and the sun sets right in front of you. You need a 4x4 to get around the area as the roads in Nosara are sometimes a bit tricky. Nosara is very popular with lots of restaurants, shops and such. The house is about 20 minutes from town so a perfect blend of privacy and of accessibility. Steven is a great source of information for the area and more than willing to help with any questions, including setting up tours/activities. All in all, excellent place and would not hesitate to return.

Es un lugar muy lindo, muy agradable la estadía; la casa es justo como se ve en las fotografías y el terreno es bastante grande al igual que la piscina. La playa que está a 5 minutos de la casa es realmente hermosa; una gran comunicación también con el host.

Una casa muy bella. Llena de comodidades, full equipada. Espacios como las fotos. Una deliciosa piscina y el condominio una piscina gigante. Todo funcionaba perfecto. Camino complejo pero excelente lugar. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos montones.

Loved our stay in this little Guiones Beach bungalow. The location was perfect for easy walks to the beach, all the best restaurants and the organic market… but it was still in a private setting, set back from the road (a safe and secure). We loved Guiones and we’re stoked we found R’s place. We’ll be back!

La casa se encuentra inmersa en un pequeño bosque por lo que la calma y silencio son excelentes. Está equipada con todo lo que una persona necesita, además que la segunda habitación se puede usar como oficina o alojar a otra persona cómodamente. La ducha exterior es un gran aspecto, pues te puedes bañar sintiendote en el bosque.

Great stay for the night! Very clean, good amenities, easy check in, felt very secure. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Marbella.

Casa Shambala/Tranquila is a little oasis off a lovely dirt road with as many horses and bikes as there are cars. The area is a slight bit out of town which I preferred as it centers you in the middle of a great hike, another more secluded local beach and a quiet and cool neighborhood vibe. It’s a quick bike ride or leisurely stroll to town and there are a couple of small mercados near by where you can groceries. We woke up to the sight and the sound of monkeys and birds singing and 3 beautiful hammocks to choose from to enjoy your morning coffee. There is a great gazebo space to chill or meditate or yoga or whatever. Safe and secure as well. Just a great spot all around. Chantel and Tonya and her adorable, quiet and respectful daughter only added to the positiveness of our experience. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly but also extremely respectful of your space. Highly recommend this place and hope to come back and stay again soon.

This place was perfect for 2 couples. Having two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. It was affordable with comfortable beds , the best beach (puerto Carrillo) within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It also had a washer & dryer which was so convenient. We did many excursions to some incredible beaches and at the end of each day would come back to a beautiful, clean refreshing pool. Puerto Carrillo has the most breathtaking beach of all. David and his family were super friendly hosts and we can’t forget their Golden retriever Quieta was the best girl.

This place is quite the find! Quiet and secluded and not far from the beaches or Samara. The place is clean and spacious and very functional. Lots of nice, thoughtful touches (beach umbrella and boogie boards incl) for the guests to feel at ease and at home. The porch is wonderful and we spent a lot of time in the hammocks. The kitchen was great for us - we cooked half of our meals at home and appreciated the filtered water and ninja blender, which we used to make several smoothies! The bed was comfortable and air conditioned, which allowed us to catch up on our rest! We loved the outside shower and used it more than the inside shower, as it was nice to cool off. Natalia is always responsive and helpful and shares tips on what’s happening in the area (ex: she let us know when there were turtles arriving on a beach in the area, and suggested visiting th saturday morning market, which is toally recommended!) Great location if travelling by car; close to everything but its own oasis for
