For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

Our stay at Andrea’s home in Schötz was absolutely incredible. The house is stunning—far more beautiful than the photos can capture—and set amidst lush farmland, creating the most peaceful and picturesque retreat. Coming from New York, we were able to truly unwind and enjoy deep, restful sleep each night in this serene setting. Andrea was a phenomenal host, ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. The home is set up wonderfully for families, and we especially appreciated how thoughtful it was for our 2-year-old. There were plenty of toys to keep her entertained, a changing table, and a bed that was just the right height for her to easily get in and out of. These little details made our stay so much more comfortable. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape surrounded by nature with all the comforts of home (and more!), this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay! We visited at the end of March and really enjoyed the garden—it must be even more beautiful in summer with all the trees and plants in full bloom. My partner suggested that a sauna would be a great addition, but even as it is, the house is already a perfect summer retreat. The entire house is well-equipped—there’s nothing missing! It’s located in a very quiet area, and you can easily walk to town. Groceries are also within walking distance. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Martina

De woning is mooi, ruime kamers, twee badkamers, ruime keuken. Een wasruimte met een wasmachine en een droger. Strijkplank met ijzer was ook aanwezig. Een wasrek met knijpers zou handig zijn geweest. Badkamer was prima. De locatie is ideaal. 30 meter verderop is de bushalte die je naar hartje Luzern brengt. Contact met Sabrina was goed. Vanwege een lange reis vanuit Nederland die 's nachts plaatsvond konden we om 10 uur 's ochtends de woning al in, dit was top!

Tolles Haus an einem wunderschönen Ort. Wir habe uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Très belle maison, dans un joli cadre très vert, adapté aux familles, parfaitement équipée. Communication fluide et réactive. Seule petite surprise : quelques passages d'avions certains jours juste au-dessus de la maison.

Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. La zona è molto silenziosa e tranquilla. I commerci sono molto vicino (100 metri) e ci si può recare a piedi. Ritorneremo volentieri.

Wir haben uns in der Villa, nach dem Wow-Effekt beim eintreten, sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Trotz schlechtem Wetter konnte man in den Pool und Whirlpool. Der Fitnessraum ist super ausgestattet - wir waren beschäftigt ^^ außerdem ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte, es war alles blitzblank und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön hergerichtet.

Livias Welness Oase ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen &Abschalten. Livia empfing uns herzlich und war bei Fragen sehr hilfsbereit. Ich kann die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen. Es war warm in der Holzhütte und der Whirlpool war auch sehr warm. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

This was one of the best experiences at an Airbnb for me, the place was so warm and welcoming and we felt right at home. We loved the cat, there were so many little thoughtful touches here and there at the place which made the stay even more enjoyable. The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, it’s a small and quiet village. Recommended to whoever wants to stay here .

We had a wonderful stay in the spacious apartment, which provided all the comfort we needed. Everything was perfect, and the hosts, Klara and Paul, were incredibly welcoming and lovely. We would love to return during the summer!

We chose this location due to it being down the road from family that live in Switzerland, and we really enjoyed using the property as a comfortable base during Christmas week 2024. The property is very quiet, clean and warm. It has easy access to road and rail networks, but you can also walk from the door into peaceful open countryside or down into the old town of Mellingen. Sue and Fritz were very helpful and friendly, and we even had a light snowfall on our first night – many thanks to Fritz for clearing the path of snow for the next morning!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach nur schön. Antonia ist äußerst freundlich und ihr gemütliches Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Unsere Hundis haben sich wie zuhause gefühlt:) wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Dieser Bungalow ist einfach ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Jedes Detail in diesem Haus zeugt von viel Liebe und Stil. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So war der Whirlpool bereits aufgeheizt und parat für uns. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist da. Weiter lädt das bequeme Sofa zu gemütlichen Abenden ein und später wartet ein sehr bequemes Bett auf einen. Fabienne ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die proaktiv kommuniziert und sehr grosszügig ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

The location of this place was great! One stop with the tram ride to reach the heart of the city, and a block away from the lake. The apartment is high end and had really nice aroma which made the space even more inviting.

Ich habe mich in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Von der Ausstattung war ich angenehm überrascht. Es war sehr viel mehr da als in Beschreibung angegeben

Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt in dieser traumhaft ruhigen und landschaftlich reizvollen Umgebung! Leider zu kurz, aber wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem großzügigen und gut ausgestatteten Haus in einer ruhigen Nachbarschaft in den Vororten von Zürich. Das Haus bietet viel Platz mit fünf Schlafzimmern und ist perfekt für Familien. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt – von Haushaltsgegenständen bis hin zu Spielen und sogar einem Trampolin und einem Air-Hockey-Tisch, die besonders bei den Kindern sehr beliebt waren. Stefan, der Gastgeber, war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war unkompliziert, und er hat uns bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Dieses Haus ist eine gute Wahl für alle, die eine familienfreundliche und komfortable Unterkunft in der Nähe von Zürich suchen. Wir würden es definitiv weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Our family of 4 had a great time at this unique location. It was conveniently located next to a supermarket, and a 5 minutes' stroll to the train station. Our kids (6 and 4) enjoyed it the most with the massive amount of toys and found something new to play with everyday. During our 10-night stay, they never once did ask for the iPad / TV - a major achievement! Yvonne was very kind and flexible to our needs and constantly checking in to see if we were ok. There were ample amenities, towels, linen, and basically everything that we needed for our stay. It was nice and clean and pleasant to be in. The mattresses weren't the most firm and we brought along our pillows for a better night's rest, but this was also expected for a place which is predominantly operated as a playgroup. Overall, it was a lovely stay, value for money, and most importantly, kept my very energetic and always-bored kids thoroughly entertained!

Christina was a wonderful host! 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again!
