I had a fantastic time at this Airbnb. The house was beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities I could have asked for. It felt like a true home away from home. The location is perfect if you're looking for tranquility – surrounded by nature and offering breathtaking views. I loved waking up to the serene landscape every morning. Tommy, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, providing great local tips while respecting our privacy. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Whether you're looking to relax or explore the surrounding nature, this place is perfect. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Sweden! Would definitely love to come back.

Niklas was a proactive host giving us clear instructions every step of the way. His home is peaceful overlooking a lake and only a short drive into town center with lots of restaurants. The space was perfect for the two of us and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks for hosting.

Vi hade en magisk vistelse i Sjöboden! Det fantastiska läget, det smakfullt inredda huset med bastu och alla bekvämligheter, samt de väldigt trevliga grannarna, gjorde vår vistelse minnesvärd. Restaurangen som ligger ett stenkast bort bjuder på fantastisk mat, dryck och service. Jonas svarar snabbt på frågor och är väldigt hjälpsam, och han gav oss dessutom bra tips på vad man kan göra i området. Verkligen ett smultronställe – vi längtar redan tillbaka!

Such a beautiful, charming place, and so peaceful and quiet! Tord was very helpful, and he made my very first AirBNB experience extremely smooth, especially for me as a non-Swedish speaker.

Wir genossen eine wundervolle Woche in dem gemütlichen Häuschen direkt am See. Es ist schön in die nordisch Natur eingebettet. Mit etwas Glück, können Elche und Rentiere in der Umgebung gesichtet werden. Mit dem Ofen, welcher mit kostenlos zur Verfügung gestelltem Holz angefeuert werden kann, blieb es angenehm warm. Die kleine Feuerstelle vor der Hütte ist super. Mit den ebenfalls kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten und sauberen Boot erkundeten wir den See und versuchten uns im Fischen. Von der Terrasse aus konnten wir die Polarlichte super sehen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden wieder kommen. Ein grosses Dankeschön an Inger, für die Hilfbereitschaft und das Organisieren von einheimischem Elchfleisch und Fisch.

We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our stay, especially the sauna and the outdoor fire to cook. It may take some time but we will definitely return!

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Das Haus und die Lage sind wundervoll. Unsere Gastgeber waren einfach toll, nichts blieb an Wünschen offen. Es wurde uns bei einem Problem mit unserem Auto geholfen, als ob man sich schon lange kennen würde. Würde ich die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen, ja unbedingt.

Ett toppenställe! Fint och fräscht inomhus och gott om spännande ställen utomhus för barnen att upptäcka. Det var lätt att hitta allt vi behövde, allt från brödrost till sänglinne. Mycket prisvärt boende för den stora familjen.

Ett mycket trivsamt och mysigt hus med charm. Många stugor med sovplatser och möjlighet att vistas många utan att det känns trångt. Trevlig uteplats och andra bekvämligheter. Supermysigt att ha så nära till vattnet där vi kunde paddla SUP och kanot på kvällarna när vattnet låg lugnt. Massor av blåbär på tomten som var gott att ha i frukosten. De ända negativa var OM vinden låg fel, vilket skedde nån dag kunde vi känna av doften från fabriken längre bort. Men det var hanterbart. Rekommenderar detta boende och skulle tänka mig att hyra det igen!

Die perfekte Unterkunft mit den perfekten Gastgebern. Die Lage (ruhig, aber als perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Gegend) ist phantastisch. Man kann vollkommene Ruhe genießen, ist mit dem Auto aber doch jederzeit schnell irgendwo. Der Blick auf den See direkt vor der Haustüre, das spiegelglatte Wasser am Morgen und der Wind am späten Nachmittag und Abend waren perfekt. Wir haben die Sauna und das Boot mit dem 5PS-Motor in Anspruch genommen, und damit eine tolle Zeit neben und auf dem Wasser gehabt. Der See ist perfekt zum Angeln, die Hechte bissen wirklich gut um die Zeit unseres Aufenthalts von Mitte August bis Anfang September. Wir wurden Ende August sogar noch mit Polarlichtern gesegnet, womit wir natürlich um diese Jahreszeit in dieser Stärke absolut nicht gerechnet haben. Andreas ist der perfekte Gastgeber, immer hilfsbereit, erreichbar und antwortet schnell. Der Unterkunft mangelt es an nichts. 5/5 Sterne, ein absoluter Traum und 100% empfehlenswert! Danke!

Great stay near the sea and a wonderful view! The kitchen is well equipped. Some cabins nearby, which made it a bit busier in the weekend, but the cabin is situated in a way that creates decent privacy. We had a relaxing time.

Everything about our stay was superb. Julius was so communicative and available even though it was Christmas and New year and sometimes I asked questions out of normal hours. The house feels like a home, toasty warm, comfy and with a lovely vibe. The views from the house, the veranda and the sauna are sublime. I’m almost reluctant to recommend this little piece of magic, for fear it will always be booked! I can’t say enough good things about our whole experience. Everything from the surroundings, the vibe, the interior, the host, the area, was outstanding, and quintessentially Sweden, we feel super lucky to have seen in 2025 there. With the northern lights as our backdrop!

A beautiful, small and cozy house with a spectacular view. Literally 2 minutes to the water. There are several other small houses around, but since we were there after the season (holidays in Sweden had ended a few days earlier), there was peace and quiet around. It's not visible in the photos, but there is a double bed downstairs and two single mattresses upstairs (great solution for children). The toilet and shower are in a separate house right next door, but that didn't bother us at all. There are no duvet or pillowcases (you can buy them additionally), but we had sleeping bags with us and that solved this problem :)

A very clean and nice place. All there to feel good. Description very accurate. Inger is a very helpful landlord living few hundred meters away but not intrusive and very nice, with direct and clear communication. People with respect of nature and environment will be delighted by the place. In winter don’t miss out ski on lake, ice cold bath in the place dedicated for this purpose. Will be glad to return
