Central village with stunning views and parking.

We had a lovely couple of day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John phoned to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. The cottage is in a superb position in the village with stunning views of the castle, the Farne islands and the harbour from the kitchen, the garden and from both bedrooms. The cottage is very well-equipped for being self-catering if you do not want to eat out at the lovely pub next door! You can park the car right outside and charge it ( if it is electric). Therefore, once you have arrived you can go on lovely walks around the island and, if you time it right with the tides, you can be there when the island is cut off, all the day-trippers have gone, and it is so peaceful. We had an amazing time at Rookhope thanks to Nicola. The place was spotless and was even nicer than the pictures. It is very serene and nobody around to bother you. We were celebrating our honeymoon and wanted a place that had no distractions and we definitely found that. There are some beautiful walks nearby and a lovely pub in the next town over. Nicola herself couldn’t have been more helpful. She was always there to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time away and feel totally refreshed. Thanks Nicola!

Captains Retreat - A caravan with Estuary Views

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

Great Lodge, have stayed here a few times. very comfortable and peaceful. Lodge is equipped with everything you could need and hot tub is fab. Diane is a great host. Will definitely be back next year!!

Just back from a couple of nights at The Great Escape and feel as thoughtful gh we've been away for a week. Very relaxing space , friendly little pub on site. Amusements was just enough to keep the kids entertained without being over the top and taking away from the feel of the place . Cracking dark skies for star viewing in the hottub. Would definitely return.

Lovely weekend! Absolutely loved the decking and hot tub area and watching the sunrise in the morning! Had a lovely long walk to explore the surrounding areas and we were very impressed! Hopefully be back again soon!

This is the second time staying at Debra's place. We couldn't wait to come back after the first time so didn't even look at any other places when booking. It's so cosy and feels like a home from home. Everything is always so spotlessly clean and there is always everything we need. Debra is a fab host and always responds when we have a question. The apartment is a perfect location to walk to town and to the local beaches. There is honestly nothing negative to say about this place. If you're planning to come to Seaham and go seaglass hunting then do not hesitate to book here. We can't wait to come back!

The Dairy Stables

The Dairy is beautiful accommodation. Carrell is very helpful, friendly and provides an extensive welcome pack. We needed to extend the heating timer, Carrell came over within minutes of receiving my message and was very helpful. We have stayed here twice and hopefully we will be returning again in the spring .

Julie is an excellent host with great customer service. We've stayed in her properties for three years in a row and are already booked for next year. The house is well appointed and in a great area for discovering Northumberland. Thank you Julie.

Delightful coastal retreat in Seahouses

This four bedroomed house was in a brilliant location and very close to the beaches, pubs and town centre. The house was over three floors which helped with spacing out the two families. There was a double bedroom on the lower floor, a double with en-suite on the first floor and then a further two king bedrooms on the second floor. There is only one parking space but we found alternative parking for the second car on the cobbled street outside. The house has plenty of space and well equipped with crockery and utensils. The bedding and towels were all clean. The WiFi wasn’t great especially with no phone signal. All in all though a Lovely home in a great location.

A wonderful Cottage - clean, spacious, comfortable. Very helpful hosts with clear instructions and attention to detail. Wonderful views of Pele Tower to the front and the sea to the back. The local beach is a few steps away and is beautiful. Overall a superb Airbnb and very dog friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay whilst visiting family. The house was spotlessly clean & very comfortable.The house is very close to the beach, cafe and shops. Our 5year old especially loved the bath in the bedroom! Would definitely book again.

A beautiful getaway accommodation, well equipped and clean , excellent location. there was only one thing i would have liked one more adult friendly bed as there were 8 adults and one child so was a bit of a squeeze , everything else was excellent thankyou

Great location, 10 minute walk to the beach and next to two pubs. Great playground right next to the house. Enough space inside for 2 adults and 2 children. We had a lovely stay and the kids were asking when we could book to come again and stay.
