We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

We stayed at Brenda and Rutgers house for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It was even more beautiful than the pictures, exceptionally clean and so relaxing. The attention to detail was incredible, it felt like a spa resort! Very comfortable beds, amazing showers, stunning decor and had everything we could possibly need. The seperate den room was a favourite for our 2 kids with it's giant tv where we snuggled up for a movie night to relax after a hectic few weeks travelling before flying home. The big jacuzzi was a hit with all of us too! We wished we could have stayed longer to make use of the bbq, firepit and sauna. We were using public transport and it was a short enjoyable walk to the nearest bus stop which took us into Haarlem in minutes. Brenda was so responsive before and during our stay and so nice to deal with. I can't accurately describe how stunning and relaxing this house is. If it's available for your dates, book it, you won't regret it! Thank you Brenda!!

Ruhige Lage, schöne und geräumige Wohnung. Marjolein ist sehr lieb und nett, zuvorkommend und antwortet schnell und zuverlässig! Ich bin zufrieden und kann es allen anderen Empfehlen.

Jessie’s place is very spacious and the photos are accurate. It’s a beautiful home in a great area that felt central to everything we needed and wanted to see. Public transportation was just a few minutes away which made getting around easy. Jessie communicated very well and was quick to respond. Check in and check out were easy and went very smoothly. We’d love to stay at Jessie’s place again if we’re ever in Amsterdam.

Logement de campagne avec son charme et avec séjour spacieux, emplacement de campagne, mais autoroute accessible très rapidement pour se rendre à Amsterdam située à 25-30 minutes. Place de parking prévue à l intérieur de la cour. Très bon accueil, horaires d arrivée flexibles et réponse rapide de l'hôte par message. A conseiller sans hésitation.

Arthur welcomed us to his home in person so everything was easily explained. He kept in touch to make sure all was well. House is in a great location - close to Haarlem & Amsterdam via public transport. Also very close to supermarket, bakery etc

Wir hatten Beke mitgeteilt, wann wir ankommen werden. Beke war bei unserer Ankunft sofort vor Ort und hat uns im Ferienhaus alles gezeigt und erklärt. Sie hat auch direkt nach unseren Wünschen während unseres Aufenthaltes gefragt, um uns entsprechende Empfehlungen und Tips zu geben. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich, mit allem ausgestattet, so dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, haben uns Haarlem und Hoorn angesehen - sehr empfehlenswert - und ansonsten mehrere Wanderungen in den Dünenlandschaften unternommen. Zahlreiche empfehlenswerte Restaurants sind in der Nähe erreichbar - auch die Strandrestaurants. Vielen Dank an Beke, für den gelungenen Aufenthalt in Bakkum. Antje & Horst

Wir haben einen schönen Familien Urlaub in Wyik aan Zee gehabt. Schöner Strand zum spazieren gehen. Ein Ausflug nach Haarlem und Amsterdam standen auch auf dem Programm. Sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in allem wir kommen gerne wieder.

Spacious apt that was centrally located. We loved walking around to great restaurants and bars, and it was easy to take subway or tram to where we wanted to go.

Hôte réactif, arrangeant, appartement propre et très bien situé. Endroit calme pour se reposer mais près d'activités diverses ! Si nous revenons à Amsterdam, nous reviendrons dans ce logement. Merci pour tout !

We were thrilled with Jurjen’s place. Homey and lush, clean and vibrant. We were so happy to be there. Jurjen provides clear instructions and wonderful recommendations. Per his suggestion we rented a boat & that was one highlight of our trip! Jurjen’s place is the best example of Airbnb that I’ve stayed. The kitchen is completely stocked with very nice quality. The beds are comfortable after long days exploring. Truly a gem. Amsterdam is a hip and magical city and this home is all that and more.

A comfortable and beautiful flat in a peerless location. Only problem is that you won't want to leave to explore Amsterdam as sitting at the window in the flat is so beguiling.

Had a great stay here. Very beautiful location. A really lovely home that Tijmen has crated with easy access to everything worth visiting in Amsterdam. Lovely places to eat and drink very close to the apartment. If we came back to Amsterdam we would definitely stay here again. Obviously as a result would highly recommend

I really enjoyed staying at Sarah’s place. It was really comfortable and Sarah is a great communicator and host! We walked to everything Amsterdam offers and great parks nearby for my dog. I loved the bathtub too! The place is quiet and tucked away out of the hustle of the city but close enough to get everywhere. I would stay again and highly recommend Sarah’s place!

Wir hatten eine wunderschönes verlängertes Wochenende in der Wohnung von Lisette. Die Lage ist super, um die umliegenden Strände z.B. in Castricum aan Zee oder die umliegenden Städte Amsterdam und Alkmaar zu besuchen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, super ausgestattet und hat einen schönen Garten zum Entspannen. Die süße Katze Jet ist das Highlight der Wohnung. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Nadines Haus! Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir hatten das Glück, tolles Wetter zu haben und konnten den Garten ausgiebig nutzen – besonders unsere 8-jährige Tochter hat sich über das Trampolin gefreut! Das einzige kleine Manko waren die recht dünnen Bettdecken. Bei den frostigen Nachttemperaturen war es ein wenig frisch, aber dank der Fußbodenheizung ließ sich das problemlos ausgleichen. Wenn wir etwas anmerken dürften, dann vielleicht, dass der Preis unserer Meinung nach etwas hoch angesetzt ist. Dennoch haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt und hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit. Insgesamt war es ein großartiger Aufenthalt, und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke, Nadine, für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Der Check In bei Adva war problemlos und in der Unterkunft haben uns schon einige Aufmerksamkeiten erwartet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, mit allem was man benötigt. Sehr hundefreundliches Haus und Umgebung, unser Hund hat es geliebt :) Die direkte Umgebung ist toll und es gibt einiges zu entdecken, wie zum Beispiel die Seen. Aber auch Amsterdam und Utrecht sind leicht zu erreichen. Wir waren über meinen Geburtstag bei Adva und hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt und würden gerne nochmal wiederkommen. Adva war immer super erreichbar!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The hosts were incredibly accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed. The cabin itself was perfect/charming, comfortable, and full of character. The best part was the stunning scenery, with a beautiful lake at the doorstep. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Plus, the location was ideal—peaceful and tranquil, yet close enough to Amsterdam to easily explore the city. This place really made my time in the Netherlands special. Highly recommend.

Superbe logement, probablement un des airbnb les plus mignons qu’on ai fait. Le jardin, la déco et le logement en lui-même nous on donné envie d’avoir un lieu similaire chez nous! Anton et Marjolein étaient adorables et très réactifs. On y reviendrait avec plaisir si on en a l’occasion :)

We waren een paar dagen in het geweldige huisje van Rose voor ons eerste huwelijksjubileum. Rose had heel attent voor ons een roos en een kaartje neergezet, wat meteen zorgde voor een fijn ontvangst! We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad bij de open haard, genoten van de omgeving met onze hondjes en de zonsopkomst vanaf de dijk is fantastisch!

Wir haben die Zeit in dem gemütlichen Haus in der ruhigen Natur sehr genossen. Es war sogar noch größer, als es auf den Fotos aussieht und ist sehr liebevoll und persönlich ausgestattet. Natürlich muss man sich bewusst machen, dass man so mitten in der Natur auch auf viele Spinnen, Mücken, etc. treffen wird. Uns hat es nicht gestört und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Highlights sind die großartige Schallplattensammlung und das Kajak, mit dem man direkt von der Terrasse ins Wasser gelangt. Auch ein Tagesausflug nach Amsterdam ist unkompliziert möglich.

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad bij Nico en Danielle. Het zijn heel aardige verhuurders die snel reageren op alle vragen. Zelfs een smart tv werd op ons verzoek geregeld. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en erg sfeervol ingericht. Prima badkamer en bed. Het huisje ligt in hun achtertuin, maar dat merk je nauwelijks omdat het helemaal afgesloten ligt van het hoofdhuis. De omgeving is met Hoorn en Enkhuizen de moeite waard. Kortom: een fijne week gehad!
